SPARK Program
The SPARK project’s goal is to provide enhanced employment services and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who earn less than minimum wage. SPARK participants will receive customized employment services and wrap around support to help them be successful in a job they are good at doing.

The SPARK Navigator provides outreach and case management services to SPARK participants.

An Employment Specialist assists SPARK participants in finding jobs and wrap-around services they need to stay employed.

A Benefits Counselor reviews what public benefits each participant receives and provides expert guidance to help you understand work incentives and how earned income from work may impact those benefits.

A Peer Mentor promotes self-advocacy and will use their experiences to help you overcome barriers to employment success.
How does SPARK work?​​

Participants and a SPARK Employment Specialist will begin outreach to employers quickly and eliminate lengthy assessments, trainings or evaluations.
