Essential Functions:
This is a TCI job located within the Rocky Mount Engine Plant process.
General Duties
Use overhead electric hoist to maneuver engine blocks onto pallet;
spray lubricant on engine blocks,
place plastic sheeting over full pallet;
secure sheeting with banding,
prepare work area for incoming blocks, i.e., place cardboard on floor, secure with tape;
assure that correct blocks are being loaded and in compliance with RMEP quality guidelines;
operate hoist and handle engine blocks/other equipment carefully and in full
                                         compliance with RMEP established safety procedures,
                                         including wearing steel-toed shoes and safety glasses at all
                                         times in work area;
clean-up/organize work area during down-time, sweep floor, empty trash, etc.;
scan all blocks prior to packing.
Requirements
High school graduate/equivalent with a minimum of 3 months related job experience in a production/industrial environment preferred. No felony convictions.

$7.25 - $8.50/HOURLY
MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and (weekends as needed)
